Music School

Music SchoolScoil na Tríonóide School of Music

Scoil na Tríonóide School of Music was established in 2014 by the Board of Management and music teacher, Fiona Collins to cater for the growing demand for music tuition in wider school community and surrounding areas. Over the years we have grown from providing this service on Monday evenings to catering for students 5 days a week.

The focus is on community based education. Those who wish to pursue music for the sheer enjoyment of it are catered for alongside students who wish to progress through the graded exams route. Our team are among the most highly regarded musicians in the region. Our aim is to forge a creative and enjoyable environment for music making to occur.

Teachers meet with each student, along with their guardian, to design a unique curriculum tailored to their needs and interests. Students are at the core of everything we do.

Diversity is what makes our school successful. Each teacher brings with them a wealth of experience which allows us to explore a variety of genres through different teaching styles. These genres include classical, Irish Traditional, Popular, Rock, Jazz and Blues.

Tuition is offered on the following instruments: Voice, Piano, Guitar, Electric Bass, Ukulele, Drums and Percussion, Bodhran, Tin whistle, Flute – classical & traditional, Violin – classical & traditional, Accordion, Concertina,

We are also offering group classes in the following : Irish Traditional Music, Vocal Performance, Song-writing, Music Technology and Instrumental Groups/Bands.

Other instruments and groups may be added according to demand. We will make every effort to accommodate if there is an instrument that a student wishes to learn that is not currently included.
